Public prices detected

Under the labels AEO, GEO and AI visibility, agencies offer different combinations of analysis, strategy, technical implementation, content creation and monitoring. This study describes how these services are presented in the European market and what information about them is available in public sources.

The largest category in the active group is SEO agencies that have added AEO/GEO to their offer. The study examines public offers, service descriptions and search presence. The data snapshot is July 2026.

What was studied

The geographic scope covered the 27 EU countries, the United Kingdom, Norway and Switzerland.

The study examined public offers from agencies and consultants related to business visibility in AI answers. It recorded provider type, the presence of a relevant offer, described work stages, public pricing indications and information sources.

Methodology

Discovery combined local-language and English queries, industry directories, curated lists and company pages. Records were consolidated by domain and classified using the study’s research categories.

The active group is a working classification. Within it, a public AEO/GEO offer was marked as detected in 625 records; the corresponding field remained unknown in seven.

The described services reflect what companies state publicly. The study did not verify the fulfilment of client contracts or the outcomes of individual projects.

Which provider types are represented

The following categories describe the 632 records in the active group.

In this sample, AEO/GEO is most often presented as part of a broader SEO offer. Specialist companies and individual consultants form smaller groups.

These categories describe provider positioning. They do not establish differences in the quality of delivery.

How specifically services are described

Four stages were used to compare offers: analysis, strategy, technical implementation and monitoring.

All four stages were recorded for 195 companies — 30.9% of the active group. Technical implementation was separately recorded in 235 records — 37.2%.

In 198 records, information about the stages was missing or marked as unknown. These results therefore do not establish that the remaining companies do not perform the corresponding work.

The practical implication concerns the specificity of the description. An AEO/GEO service label alone does not explain which tasks the offer includes or who is responsible for carrying them out.

What is known about public pricing

In the working database, public prices were marked as detected in 85 records — 13.4% of the active group.

They were marked as not detected in 213 records. In 334 records, or 52.8%, the status remained unknown.

These data describe confirmed observations but do not establish what share of the whole market withholds prices. An unknown status does not mean that a price list is absent.

Public prices also need context: a one-off analysis, a strategy and monthly support can cover different work. This study did not calculate an average market price.

What the search component showed

A separate part of the study considered two intents: finding a service provider and finding explanatory material about AEO/GEO. Queries about individual countries and Europe as a whole were also compared.

In the reviewed records, changes in language and geographic wording were accompanied by changes in the sets of domains found. Agency-selection queries returned provider pages and curated lists, among other results. Explanatory queries also returned guides, publications and reference material.

This component used web search as a proxy to explore possible sources for AI answers. It did not measure direct answers from ChatGPT, Perplexity or other systems. A discovered domain therefore does not count as a confirmed AI recommendation or citation.

How to read the results

The study helps separate several questions: how a company names its service, which work it describes, whether it publishes pricing indications and for which search queries its website appears.

When comparing offers, it is useful to clarify the scope of work, responsibility for implementation, the monitoring method and the limits of the promised outcome. Mentioning AEO/GEO on a website does not answer all these questions.

Limitations

The sample was assembled through search and public sources. It is not a census of all European agencies or a statistically representative estimate of the market. Country coverage and the number of search queries were uneven.

The results reflect the collected material as of July 2026. Undetected information may exist outside the checked sources. Classification of a public offer does not confirm service quality, client outcomes or actual AI visibility.
