Version 1.0 • Last updated 7 October 2025
This Cookie Policy explains which cookies and similar technologies IndexDock may place on your device, why we use them, and how you can control your preferences. It should be read together with our Privacy Policy.
We set a single essential cookie to keep the interface consistent for returning visitors:
| Cookie | Type | Purpose | Retention |
|---|---|---|---|
| lang | First-party, essential | Stores the selected interface language. | 365 days |
| consent | First-party, preference | Remembers whether you accepted or rejected optional cookies. | 365 days |
If you click “Accept”, we load Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics 4. Those services may set the following cookies in your browser:
| Cookie | Type | Provider | Purpose | Retention |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| _ga | Third-party, analytics (consent-based) | Google Analytics 4 | Tracks aggregated usage metrics such as page views and session duration. | 24 months |
| _ga_<container-id> | Third-party, analytics (consent-based) | Google Analytics 4 | Stores per-session state for GA4 after consent. | 24 months |
IP addresses are truncated before analytics reports are generated. Reports are used only in aggregate to improve IndexDock marketing and product decisions.
You can change your choice any time by clicking “Cookie Settings” in the footer or by clearing cookies in your browser. Blocking the `lang` cookie may reset the interface language to English on each visit.
If you sign in to IndexDock, the backend sets an authentication cookie to keep your session active. That cookie is classified as a service cookie and is managed entirely by the backend infrastructure; it is not exposed or controlled by the marketing frontend.
We review this Cookie Policy whenever we add or remove trackers. Material changes are highlighted in the policy and communicated via the Privacy Policy. For questions, email privacy@indexdock.com.
